Bless: Daddy Didn’t Make it as a Rockstar

A festival classic if we ever heard one...

Appearing at Zooquarium Festival on Hastings pier alongside Rat Boy, We Are Z and Kid Kapichi, Bless are likely to have the anthem of the weekend with this hook-laden gem.

If you missed them at Glastonbury here’s another chance…

Gabi Garbutt & the Illuminations W/ BLESS. & Jeremy Tuplin - FREE ENTRYSep 28, 7:30pmThe MonarchOver the past few months I've been collaborating with excellent producer and musician Sean Read (Dexys, Chrissie Hynde, Edwyn Collins) to make strange brassy pop, with the help of a few other amazingly talented friends on the way. I'm now really excited to present the fruits of our musical expeditions live with my new band Gabi Garbutt & The Illuminations.

The Illuminations are Sean Read on sax, keys & bvs, Jimi Scandal on guitar & bvs, Alec Sala on trumpet, keys & bvs, Stephen Gilchrist on drums and Jonny Haze on bass.

Come watch us make soulful pop explosions before we head off to support the Libertines a couple of days later.

Also playing are BLESS., one of my favourite London bands, indie-punk with a hint of Northern Soul.

And Jeremy Tuplin, cosmic space folk from the centre of the earth...
