Latest update from End of the Road

We would like to say a HUGE thank you to each and every person who came down to End Of The Road Festival 2017. You all made the 12th edition an absolutely incredible one. We are still reeling from all the surprises and once in a lifetime performances!

From Slowdive(band)’s mesmeric Thursday night opener, to Mac DeMarco’s thrilling Friday night first and only UK headline show, to Father John Misty’s first ever festival headline slot, Lucinda Williams’ only festival appearance this year and Bill Callahan (smog)’s astounding closing performance on the iconic Garden Stage, the wonders never ceased. Newcomers Aldous Harding and Nadia Reid brought the festival to a stand still, while we witnessed career defining sets from Perfume Genius and Ty Segall on the Garden Stage. We danced until we dropped to Gold Panda and Kelly Lee Owens, laughed through the rain with the help of Adam Buxton, Cardinal Burns and Bec Hill before gazing at the stars from the new Planetarium.

We’ve loved every minute and we can’t wait to do it all again next year.

Early Bird tickets go on sale tomorrow morning at midday, get yours here: www.endoftheroadfestival.com

BBC Radio 3's Nick Luscombe caught up with part-time music legend / part-time laughter expert Laraaji at Larmer Tree for a quick Laughter Meditation session. Have a watch below, and just try not to laugh...

Nick will be airing his highlights from EOTR on his Late Junction show all week, starting tonight with Laraaji's blend of transcendental jazz and new age ambience, as well as the industrial drones and abrasive riffs of Housewives. Make sure you're tuned in from 11pm!
