Standard weekend tickets to Glastonbury Festival 2014 will go on sale at 9am BST on Sunday, 6th October. According to the official Glastonbury Festival website, festival-goers will be able to book a ticket by paying a £50 deposit per person, either online at, on 0844 412 4635 from a UK phone or, for international callers, from +44 1159 934 183.

Glastonbury Festival 2014 tickets will be priced at £210 plus a £5 booking fee. Purchases will be limited to a maximum six tickets per transaction, down from eight last year.

For the first time a small allocation of Glastonbury Festival tickets and coach travel bundles will go on sale ahead of standard festival tickets, on Thursday October 3rd at 6pm BST. As part of the Festival's continued commitment to green travel, 15,000 coach + ticket packages will, for the first time, be sold in advance of the general sale.

Festival-goers will also only be able to book up to six coach + ticket packages per transaction. Along with their deposit of £50 per person, those booking coach packages will be required to pay the full coach ticket price for their journey. A list of pick-up locations and prices is available below.

Once the deposit of £50 has been paid, the remaining ticket balances of £160 plus a £5 booking fee will be due in the first week of April 2014, for both UK and international buyers. Postage by Royal Mail Special Delivery will be charged at £7 per order.

Glastonbury Festival 2014 will take place from 25-29 June on Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset.

Anyone wishing to buy Glastonbury Festival tickets will need to be registered with the festival ahead of the tickets going on sale next month. To get registered for the 2014 ticket sales you must submit your application ahead of September 30th for approval. Registration is free of charge and only takes a couple of minutes - you can register at on a PC, laptop, mobile device or tablet.

Last year users reported a number of difficulties in securing tickets for the 2013 edition of the festival through the SeeTickets system and, although changes will hopefully improve the system in time for this forthcoming ticket sale date, demand is still expected to far outweigh supply.
