About Wye Fayre 2007

Wye Fayre is a new festival with a non-commercial, supposedly 'old school' feel. It opens this summer with 130 acts performing on five stages over two days to a capacity crowd of around 7,000 people.

The diverse programme of music is curated by Will Rees of The Slaughtered Lamb's famous Electroacoustic Club in London. It features Mercury nominees, up-and-coming unsigned bands and established international acts playing a mix of folk, rock, blues, roots, Americana, indie, electronica, raw grooves and psychedelia.

There's some diverse other stuff too, with real ale, real lager, wine and cocktail bars, good food, a marketplace, an al fresco record shop, an alternative healing and therapies tent, acres of space for free camping and parking and even paid accommodation if you're not a happy camper!
