The roots of the Wychwood Music Festival lie in an ancient forest gathering that last took place over 150 years ago. The folk, roots, rock and world music event was resurrected four years ago and returns to Cheltenham Racecourse for 2008
.
The intimate affair boasts a bill of around eighty acts with a mix of old favourites and rising stars then, once the stages have closed down, the Big Top hosts a Silent Disco until the early hours of the morning.

Aside from the music revellers can partake in adult and children's workshops in circus skills, music, yoga and tai chi. The event also has a solar powered cinema, performance poetry, comedy, Healing Gardens, a Global Village and exotic food and drink stalls.
