Win tickets to Truck Festival 2011!

Closing date: 01 Jul 2011

Win a pair of tickets to Truck Festival 2011!

The independent jewel in the UK festival season crown, Truck Festival is partnering up with lots of other like-minded independent and creative souls to make this year's festival the best yet. Three of the hottest independent record labels in the UK have been lined up to curate the newly-expanded second stage – Transgressive Records, Heavenly Recordings and Bella Union – and Oxford Playhouse will be presenting theatre productions on-site. Truck Festival will also be giving a home to the Oxford Folk Festival this summer. The event was forced to cancel earlier this year but Truck have asked them to curate two days of programming for the new Wood Stage so folk-lovers don’t have to miss out. Hotly-tipped Oxford collective Blessing Force will be curating a programme of music for the new talent stage.

Headlined by Gruff Rhys and Bellowhead, the line-up is a veritable feast of the best indie, rock, folk and Americana artists out there, both the hottest new talent of 2011 and the best established artists around. The bill includes Graham Coxon, Saint Etienne, John Grant, Philip Selway, Edwyn Collins, The Go! Team, Johnny Flynn, The Duke & King, Cherry Ghost, Roddy Woomble, Admiral Fallow, Fixers, Chad Valley, Caitlin Rose, Young Knives, Pete & The Pirates, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Dry The River, Marques Toliver, Gaggle and many more.
Taking place on Hill Farm in Steventon, Oxfordshire from July 22nd to 24th, this is the first year Truck will be a full three-day festival with the site expanding to include brand new stages, the Wood Field full of activities and facilities for families and boutique camping. Truck highlights returning this year include the legendary after-dark party spot Boxford return, the Truck All-Stars closing the festival on Sunday night, cabaret, comedy, cross-dressing bar staff and the Rotary Club flipping burgers.

Weekend tickets are £99 with day tickets from £40 and concessions for those aged 13 to 17.
