Win a pair of tickets to Liverpool Sound City

Here's your chance to win one of two pair's of wristbands to Liverpool Sound City, which will give you and a friend access to any of the gigs on offer.

Liverpool's own version of SXSW, Liverpool Sound City returns for three days in May following the success of its inaugural event. Showcasing local and national talent the festival is a chance for industry insiders, promoters, tastemakers to sign the next big thing and music lovers to discover their favourite new band.

This year Calvin Harris, Billy Bragg, White Lies, Little Boots and Cage The Elephant are set to perform in various venues around the city's cultural quarter along with The Zutons, Animal Collective and The Damned.

The festival will also feature The John Peel World Cup – a charity football competition that will see 12 teams made up of bands, record labels and more fight it out to see whose the best footballing side, whilst raising money for the British Heart Foundation.

And Virtual Festivals have teamed up with the event to give away two pairs of festival wristbands, which will give access to all the gigs (subject to venue capacity).
