Win Carling Weekend: Reading & Leeds Tickets

Closing date: 19 Aug 2007

This is a unique opportunity for a budding journalist to blog their way to The Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds Festivals, as Nokia's official Rock Up & Play correspondent and bag a shiny new Nokia N73 handset.

Rock Up & Blog!

Nokia is looking for talented and passionate music writers to cover their Rock Up & Play Tents at this year's Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds Festivals. This will involve capturing the action as it unfolds throughout the weekend, with written blogs, photos and videos.

Your 'weapon of choice' for this undertaking will be a shiny new Nokia N73 handset, yours for keeps, which boasts an impressive 3.2 Megapixel camera, 20x digital zoom and built-in photo and video editing tools - perfect for the job. The Nokia also stores up to 1,500 music tracks with a 2GB mini SD card.

Nokia’s Rock Up & Play stage at  The Carling Weekend: Reading and  Leeds Festivals aims to give anyone dreaming of being the next Johnny Borrell the chance to get up and perform live in front of fellow festival-goers. The tent will also host exclusive, intimate Q & A sessions with, and performances from, bands of the moment including The Enemy, Shiny Toy Guns,  Noisettes and The Maccabees  - and you will have a seat at the front.

How To Enter

Winning this opportunity will be down to your creative skills, and not luck:

- Just post a 100 word blog entry (on our new MyStage section) telling us which band you are most looking forward to seeing at this year's Reading and Leeds Festivals, and why.
