WHITBY MUSICPORT WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL 2007

Now in its eighth year Whitby Musicport returns to the Whitby Pavilion, North Yorkshire with a stellar line-up of international stars. Organisers have announced an eclectic selection of world music with artists performing African music, folk and blues, to rock, reggae and everything in between.

Rachid Taha, Linton Kwesi Johnson and Courtney Pine are performing at the UK's largest indoor world music event which will also include workshops for children and adults, films and acoustic theatre pieces.

Camping is available for £10 per pitch at the nearby Stakesby School.
