Europe's biggest wakeboarding tournament by day and a full-on music festival by night, Wakestock has evolved during its seven
year history from a few speakers in a car park to arguably North Wales' biggest outdoor party.
The water sports take
place in Pwllheli Marina, but the majority of the action is set back from the coast up in the hills, with several tents and
(for the first time this year) an outdoor stage providing the venues for a mixture of music. DJs and live bands, both new
and established, help keep the competitors up a lot later than they should be, while the stunning coastline and seaside towns
are a welcome change of scene during the daytime.
