2008 sees the USA's Virgin Festival return for its third outing at the Pimlico Racecourse near Baltimore, Maryland. Originally
springing from the success of V Festival in the UK, the two-day event has now branched off and established itself as an independent
entity.
Although bands don't swap venues like the British version, don't expect to miss out on the extensive corporate
branding and an expansive guestlist. However do expect the multi-genre selection of acts with everyone form The Police and
The Smashing Pumpkins to Matisyahu and Felix Da Housecat performing last year.
