About Underage Festival 2009
After organising a string of successful gigs for 14-17 year olds, teenager Sam Kilcoyne decided to create his own exclusive
adolescent festival and now Underage Festival is preparing for its third year.
Held in Victoria Park, Hackney, East
London the one-day event is strictly for 14-17 year olds with a predominantly indie line-up that included Foals, Glasvegas
and Gallows last year.
Club promoters Eat Your Own Ears also help to make sure that the best of emerging and established
acts are booked for the summer holiday soiree.
With the audience strictly for 14-17 year olds only, there will be no
alcohol on sale anywhere.
