The Scandinavians certainly love their metal and in honour of that here's another metal festival for Fenno-Scandinavia: the
Tuska Open Air Metal Festival.
The three-day event takes place Kaisaniemi Park, Helsinki. Over 30 acts are set to appear
across the festival's three stages (one open-air, two marquees) following in the footsteps of the like of Immortal, Volbeat
and Bullet For My Valentine. There will also be acts playing in various evening clubs around the city.
The festival
doesn't have camping facilities but the city of Helsinki provides anything from hostels to luxury hotels.
Helsinki-Vaanta
Airport provides a wealth of European transport links while the city is connected to Finland, Russia, Norway and Sweden via
rail. Ferry links to Europe are also available for those sea faring metal folk.
