The second All Tomorrow's Parties spring weekender sees The Shins, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Devendra Banhart curating and headlining a day each, selecting their fantasy lineup and programming a television channel too.
Held in a holiday park on the Kentish coast, ATP succeeds in providing a totally unique festival experience where tents and mud are as notably absent as NMEs new fave bands, organisers instead opting for the less commercial and familiar but often more interesting.
Each day kicks off mid-afternoon with bands and DJs going through until dawn. There's also a beach on your doorstep plus all the trappings of a budget holiday park, including swimming pool, mini-golf, go-karting, restaurants, and a supermarket.
