THE GREEN MAN FESTIVAL 2008

The Green Man festival has grown since it began as a one-day event in 2003. The festival returns to the Brecon Beacons for its sixth year with a mixture of psychedelic folk, rock and folktronica.

The non-corporate affair has now stretched to three days with 10,000 people without compromising on its intimacy or family-friendly atmosphere. The event is run by musicians so the choice of acts is first class with Robert Plant, Tunng and Battles all performing last year.

Food at the festival is top notch organic grub which is complemented by a wide selection of real ales. There are DJs playing through the night, independent films, workshops and children under 11 get in free.less
