Before the pop charts were dominated by the contemporary sounding R&B with stars like Rihanna and Akon there was a time when
the Rhythm and Blues sound had evolved from pre 1940s jazz, gospel and blues.The Great British R&B Festival is bringing back the original sound with four days of music across four arenas.
The event will hold an International Stage, A British Stage, an Acoustic Stage as well as four Roadhouse Venues with performances from the likes of Dr Feelgood, Ian Siegal Band, The Animals and Sly Fox.
