THE OUTSIDER 2007

New for 2007, The Outsider takes place in the north of Scotland and aims to explore man's relationship with the environment, by combining live music with outdoor pursuits such as mountain biking and stargazing.

Unlike other festivals, visitors will be encouraged to leave the site in order to explore, appreciate and learn about the immediate surroundings - be it kayaking on the nearby Loch Morlich, badger and owl watching, or going on ranger-led walks.

There will also be film screenings, comedy, music and all the usual small festival attractions.   

The event will be held as part of the celebrations for Highlands 2007, a broad-reaching social program highlighting and promoting Highland culture.less
