About The Great Dorset Steam Fair 2008
The Great Dorset Steam Fair returns for it's 40th anniversary in 2008 bringing together the world's leading steam and vintage
vehicle event with a selection of great music across five stages.
The festival runs Wednesday through to Sunday with
organisers expecting around 200,000 visitors this year. The music ranges from country and folk to choirs and jazz which means
there is something to suit everybody.
There is also a talent contest and karaoke competition with prizes as well as
an Old Steam funfair and plenty more for the family. The site also includes real ale bars, food hall and craft stalls.
