About The Garden Festival 2009
On the back of last year's success Croatia's Garden Festival will return in 2009 as a double weekender giving revellers the
chance to make a real holiday of things.
Running from 3 - 5 and the 10 - 12 July the festival merges a variety of relaxing
daytime activities with a wealth of scenic evening shenanigans.
The likes of Giles Peterson, Mr Scruff and Bonobo are
set to rock the festivals three stages as punters enjoy cocktails from the seafront bar.
The Argonaughty boat parties,
last year's highlight, will also be returning this year. Creeping along the Adriatic coast from the festival site to the town
of Zadar, they will drop the crowd off at the Garden bar on the city walls to see out the rest of each night.
Between
these two weekends the site becomes a veritable holiday retreat giving those with the 'Double Wammy' pass (£120) the chance
to indulge further in the soothing delights of the Med.
The 'Garden' can be found near the seaside town of Zadar, Croatia.
International flights run to Zadar itself and the nearby cities of Split and Zagreb. Organisers have also hinted at special
chartered flights for the festival. Meanwhile the town is also on the Croatian national rail network.
