About The Falls Festival (Marion Bay) 2007
The Falls Festival is a three day affair that brings in the Australian New Year. It began in 1993 when a surfer decided
to upgrade his annual NYE party with his mates to something a little bigger.
The event has grown into a dual-site festival
with Lorne, Victoria and Marion Bay, Tasmania sharing the same line-up. Acts are selected from around the world and Basement
Jaxx, Modest Mouse and The Bees all appeared last year.
The Falls Festival also includes a comedy tent, art village
and a film tent. Both venues have access to beautiful beaches and tickets include two free nights of camping.
