For an event that started off as a surfer's annual NYE party, The Falls Festival has grown impressively into a three-day soiree over two sites.

With one line-up performing at both locations the likes of Franz Ferdinand, The Hives and The Kooks add the international cusp that will complement the slew of local artists.

Lorne, Victoria and Marion Bay, Tasmania share the honours this time around with a comedy tent, art village and a film tent keeping festival-goers entertained.

Both venues have access to beautiful beaches and tickets include two free nights of camping.
