About The Bristol Festival 2008
Held at Waterfront Square, the Amphitheatre and various venues around Bristol city centre this two-day festival is a massive
showcase for the emerging and established musical talent from across the South West area of England.
For 2008 the festival
will take place in two parts. The first, Brizzolfest, will take place during the day with stages and tents of music, workshops,
art installations, walkabouts and a few surprises as well.
The second half, Rave-On-Avon, is the late-night programme
which will showcase the best of electronic music from drum n bass and dubstep to house and electro. Rave-On-Avon will have
a one-wristband, all-venues policy giving the holder access to all the clubs and DJs.
