About The Big Chill 2011
The Big
Chill 2011 have teamed up with well renowned travel operator National Express to provide festival-goers with the most efficient
and hassle free way to get to the festival. There are dozens of coaches travelling from all four corners of the country to
enable you to arrive with minimal effort.
More festival-goers are travelling by coach to events because of its green
credentials and because it saves money on car parking and the coach drops ticket-holders closer to the campsite than any other
mode of transport.
Now nobody has to have the short straw of being designated driver, simply find the coach you want
and follow the instructions. Booking online couldn't be simpler, go to the National Express website by clicking
here use the menu on the left to select where you will be travelling from, take a look at the departure options and buy
your ticket.

The
Big Chill may've grown, evolved and moved location since its humble beginnings in 1994, but it still keeps its original ethos
and atmosphere that makes sure Chillers return year-on-year.
Taking place in the beautiful surroundings of Eastnor
Castle Deer Park, Herefordshire, the three-day boutique festival is likened to Glastonbury for creativeness and craziness
with arts and music put on level pegging.
Two open air stages host the live acts during the weekend while a series
of DJ tents and bar make sure the raver inside us all is entertained by a myriad of blips and beats.
The festival's
most distinctive feature is the arts trail that snakes high up a steep hill; it's a fantastic spectacle when the stars come
out and an apt symbol of the boundaries organisers have broken.
Don't expect to recognise many of the acts on The Big
Chill line up unless you've been before, but don't fret because the anti-genre pigeonholing policy the organisers employ means
there is something for everybody.
Facilities include a general store, bars, food and merchandise stalls, cash point
and 24 hour cafe. Alcohol cannot be brought into the main arena but is permitted in the camping areas although strictly no
glass. Camping is free although camper vans require a ticket.
Over 18s only unless accompanied.
Big Chill tickets
are expected to go on sale before the end of the year (2010).
