About Taubertal-Festival 2009
The meandering Tauber river, in the shadow of Rothenburg's medieval walls and towers, forms a stunning natural amphitheatre
for any musical event.
The fact that it hosts one of Germany's most unique festivals and the final stop for the world's
top unsigned band competition over one memorable weekend makes it all the more special.
With Die Toten Hosen, Maximo
Park and Flogging Molly amongst those already confirmed, this year's Taubertal Festival looks set to wow the main stage crowds
in 2009.
At the other end of the venue the final unsigned acts, handpicked through the Emergenza competition, will
battle it out one last time for a coveted record deal on the 'Sounds For Nature' stage.
A wide selection of food stalls
available as well as weekend camping, with the odd dip in the river included in the package. Rothenburg is on the German national
rail network whilst Nurnberg Airport is the closest international transport hub.
