About SuperSonic 2006
After last year's event was cut short by a city-wide bomb scare, SuperSonic defiantly returns, once again showcasing some
of the very finest alternative acts around - and we're talking real alternative. Previous bands have included Jesu, Battles,
Merzbow, Surgeon, and DJ Egg.
Hosted by Capsule, one of the UK's most cutting edge promoters, the festival boasts three
stages - one outside and two indoors. There will also be art exhibitions and various other wierd and wonderful things on show
no doubt. One of the most eclectic and ambitious festivals you'll find in the UK, it resembles Spain's Sonar festival in terms
of artistic license.
