Younger sister to the longer established Hurricane festival, Southside now has a cemented place as one of the Germany's favourite rock gatherings.

As you probably guessed it from the name, the event takes place down south in the town of Neuhausen ob Eck and will once again share a thundering rock line-up with its big sister up north.

Kings of Leon, The Wombats and German favourites Die Arzte have already been confirmed for this year as revellers look set to return for another three days of fun and games.

Weekend tickets will include parking and camping. International flights run to Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg airport just over the border in France while a shuttle bus will be operating from Tuttlingen station which is on the German national rail network.
