About Southbound Festival 2008
Southbound is set to return for its fourth year bringing Sir Stewart Bovell Park, Busselton a mixture of acts from Australia
and abroad. Big names like Ian Brown, Dandy Warhols and The Shins have appeared in recent years.
Organisers of the
three-day camping event are keeping things green this time by planting a tree for every ticket that's bought and giving punters
the opportunity to pay an extra $2.00 to cover their carbon footprint to the festival.
The event also leans heavily
on arts and this year the ArtBound competition gives creative types the chance to show off their sculpting skills with ten
winners getting their work exhibited around the site.
