About Sidmouth Folk Week 2009
For one week of the year the small coastal town of Sidmouth, East Devon opens the doors of local venues to bring a selection
of folk music to the town, the streets and the seafront.
Over the week there are workshops, social dances, lectures,
discussions, storytelling and folk clubs for all ages. The Young Sidmouth programme means there is something for all the youngsters
ranging from craft workshops to music sessions.
The traditional Torchlight Procession will return for the Friday night
of the festival. There is camping available but only limited space for campervans and motorhomes.
