About Rockwave 2009
Greece's biggest music festival returns and takes hold of the capital city, Athens, in 2009 with another three full days
of music running from the heavier to the mellower side of rock.
Rockwave Festival is noted for its great atmosphere
as well as being able to lure some of the world's biggest acts to its shores with the likes of The Offspring and Judas Priest
mixing it up with Manu Chao and Marky Ramone last time round.
80,000 festival goers from all over Europe will be welcomed
among the pine trees of the Terra Vibe Park from the 26 - 28 June 2009.
Punters will have an abundance of shady spots
to relax over a glass of wine throughout the Greek summer days before hitting the aptly named Terra and Vibe stages for the
evening shenanigans.
International flights run through Athens International Airport while Sfendali and Malakasa Attiki
stations feed the festival with trains running from Greece's major cities.
