About Rocket Festival 2008
The Rocket Festival is held at Alhama de Granada, Andalucia in Spain on 15 hectares of farmland that overlooks the Sierra
de Almijara National Park. It is a celebration of contemporary and traditional music as well as performance and sculpture.
Andalucian
artists perform alongside a whole host of artists from around Europe with music ranging from blues, jazz, rock, reggae as
well as a selection of live dance music and DJs.
Other entertainment includes BMX ramps, a healing area, circus, cabaret
and street performers as well as children's entertainment. There will also be market stalls, food and bars. Camping is also
available.
