About Rock For People 2009
Rock For People has grown from a small, regional festival in the town of Cesky Brod to a three-night event attracting over
20,000 revellers.
It is now one of the most prestigious and attractive events in the Czech Republic festival calendar
and takes place at Festival Park near the city of Hradec Kralove.
The event is run on a non-profit basis and has donated
over half a million dollars to various organisations.
As well as the usual food and drink on offer the Rock For People
festival hosts over 130 acts, free camping, theatre and even extreme sports.
