Pukkelpop was established in 1985 where it began with one stage and just seven acts. The festival has come a long was in
the last 23 years and it now attracts some of the world's biggest artists across five stages.After many venue swaps the Belgium festival now resides at Kempische Steenweg terrains in Kiewit, Hasselt. This year the likes of The Smashing Pumpkins, Tool and Arcade Fire are set to wow the Flemish thousands.
Aside from the bands the festival has a range of top-name DJs, theatre, a comedy stage, a cinema as well as food and drink stalls.
