About Pukkelpop 2011

Pukkelpop really is a feast for all. Found in Kiewit Hasselt, Belgium, this is what the love child of Reading and Glastonbury would be like. Easy to get to (once in Belgium you have free second class train travel with your festival ticket) the site boasts eight stages with a mixture of rock, pop, dance, punk, folk and comedy as well as a beach area, cabaret area and a field dedicated to charity organisations.

Held over four days in mid August, the entertainment-rich but quite-contained festival has hoasted bands such as Faith No More, Krathwerk, Deus, Muse, Prodigy, Metallica and Rodrigo Y Gabriela in the past. There are plenty of loos, a broad range of grub and strong Belgium beer that will make for an experience you will want to repeat year after year.
