Pohoda festival is Slovakia's largest and most prestigious music fest with over 100 bands and DJ's appearing every year over
7 different stages for a credit crunch busting price.
Crowds head to the beautiful site in the Vah river valley
near the city of Trencin to take in an exceptional show comprising a line-up of epic musical diversity, a host of interactive
art forms and a series of renowned chill-out zones.
The atmosphere is spelt out by the festival's name which literally
means 'well-being', and with the likes of Basement Jaxx and the Orchestra Baobab set to help things along Pohoda's twelfth
edition will undoubtedly trigger a fair bit of unwinding.
The city of Trencin is approximately 1h35 mins by train
from Slovakia's capital Bratislava whose international airport serves a host European destinations. Camping is available throughout
the weekend
