About Pohoda Festival 2007
Pohoda Festival is the largest music festival in Slovakia and in 2006 the event celebrated a decade of bringing a multitude
of diverse acts from all around the word. Pohoda is Slovakian for relax and that's what the festival tries to do.
The
site for the festival is Tremcin Airport, which is located at the foot of the Strazovske vrchy hills in the beautiful valley
of the Vah River. Pohoda pulls together a variety of arts from sculpturing, painting and spray painting mixed with dance,
theatre and literature with music the proverbial glue that holds the festival at the seams.
The festival gives you
the chance to completely relax whilst having the opportunity to listen to some of the world's bands. It's a festival version
of a weekend at spa which good music taste.
