About Playground Weekender 2010
The Playground Weekender is set to return to the Del Rio Resort in Wiseman's Ferry, New South Wales.
This three-day
event is as much about experience as it is the music with revellers arriving at the beautiful location by catamaran where
the site is surrounded by kangaroos.
The festival boasts are six stages of electric musical mayhem that, in the past,
has ranged from Ian Brown and LTJ Bukem to Elbow and Cold War Kids. Away from the bands and beats there will be a cinema,
cabaret, healing zone, international food market and even a swimming pool.
Saturday is fancy dress day and festival-goers
can stay in tipi's, yurts, motor homes, houseboats or a tent hotel - that's if they don't want a normal tent.
