About Planet Festival 2009
With year one in the bag, Planet Festival, one of the Czech Republic's newest open air events, returns with a bang in 2009
for another weekend of musical frolics.
Klaxons, White Lies, Baddies and Orbital are among those already on the bill
for this summer, dishing out a multitude of genres across two open air stages and a marquee.
Set on the rolling fields
of the Tabor Airfield in the south of the country, Planet offers plenty of space for a good lounge about in the grass, the
thrills of live extreme sports and a host of stalls and shops on top of the eclectic line-up.
Camping is available
for revellers throughout the festival weekend. Shuttle buses run between the festival site and Tabor station which provides
various rail links. European flights run through Prague International Airport, 100km north of Tabor by train or bus.
