Hailing from Tennessee, these boys are probably already used to the Kings Of Leon comparisons, and to be fair, it’s a good shout, but this lot are going straight for the jugular.
Bypassing the backwoodsmen years and heading straight for the soaring choruses of ‘Because Of The Times’ and ‘Only By The Night’, they already have a set of would-be festival anthems waiting for you to discover.
Having already appeared on Jools Holland, and with a stack of upcoming tour dates, ‘Teenager’, ‘Trouble On The Way’ and ‘Listen To Your Love’ are the warning shots, hollered, upbeat and memorable, but wait until ‘Lines In The Sand’ hits, with Nick Brown at his most Springsteen, all lovelorn and cracked, and you can see the lighters/phones aloft from here.
