East LA’s Funeral Party will begin 2011 on a huge tour of the UK to coincide with the release of debut album ‘The Golden Age Of Knowhere’. You probably know ‘NYC Moves To The Sound Of LA’ and follow-up ‘Just Because’ already, as they made themselves at home on the airwaves earlier this year. You probably know the kind of energy they generate live if you squeezed in to see their tent-packing performances at Reading and Leeds.
All you need to know now is ‘Finale’ tops both of those songs, and will probably mean the crush to see them gets even bigger. Catchy, clever, furious punk-funk with a judicious use of cowbell, they make a lot of noise for three people. We defy you not to dance.
