NXNE runs along the same tracks as its southern cousin SXSW except it only runs for four days. The festival however does
showcase hoards of top Canadian acts as well as a host of international bands too.Aside from the music the event holds seminars, songwriter round tables, discussion panels and conferences. Venues in Toronto, Ontario each have five bands performing each night so there is plenty of aural action around the city.
Last year saw the likes of Dinosaur Jr, Buffalo Tom and You Say Party! We Say Die! So expect much more of the indie ilk this time around.
