Beach Break Live 2011 organisers have confirmed that they will be working with Dell to create the Dell Digital Festival Experience on their website with much more interactive fun at the festival too.
Dell Digital Festival Experience is a virtual world where fans can explore before, during and after the festival, listen to playlists, see the site and much more!
Those who browse the site also have the chance to win a Dell Inspiron laptop worth £500 just by sharing it with their friends on Facebook.
Once the festival is underway they will also be able to tag themselves in the photos BBL upload, upload their own, watch the coverage and keep up to date with what’s kicking off and where with live twitter feeds from each venue and backstage.
Amongst the other activity already confirmed is The Dell Dome, a brand new and exciting venue where leading technology and social media will be at festival-goers’ fingertips. They will be able to sit in comfy surroundings and Tweet their heart out, Facebook their friends, Skype and upload photos on brand new Dell laptops including the InspironTM 15 & 17R.
James Griffiths from Dell said: “BBL understands the Gen-Y audience and we’re excited to be working with them again on what looks to be a great festival experience for all. Our involvement allows those at the festival and at home to enjoy the music and get exclusive content from backstage to the Dell Main Stage.”
Celia Norowzian from BBL said: “We are over the moon to be working with Dell again. They are the perfect partner for our student audience and we are doing some amazing activities that will offer people some great experiences at the festival as well as online before and after the festival.”
Tinie Tempah, White Lies and Magnetic Man are among the acts set to play the Dell Main Stage with 300 other artists playing over the 10 BBL stages.
