V Festival takes place in Staffordshire and Chelmsford this weekend, with weathermen predicting both to be damp affairs at times - and we're not talking about Morrissey headlining...
Metcheck predicts that the Saturday in Chelmsford will have a mix bag of sunshine and showers with a maximum temperature of 19c, while Sunday should improve with fewer chances of showers and a high of 21c.
In Staffordshire, about 10mm of rain is due to fall on the Saturday with a high of 19c, while Sunday should bring some sunshine with a high of 20c.
The BBC says much the same, however it predicts that Chelmsford will be hit by even more rain on the Sunday than on the previous day.
Fitting then that doom mongers Morrissey and Radiohead are headlining the festival, while the likes of Groove Armada and Fatboy Slim will be doing their best to bring out the sunshine.
It goes without saying that a pair of wellies, a waterproof and some warm clothes should find their way into your rucksack.
Keep checking the weather forecasts, as predictions are likely to change over the next 48 hours – hopefully for the better!
