Glastonbury Festival's new talent competition is now open and accepting entries from unsigned bands - and this year it's all online.
To stand a chance of playing one of the festival's world famous stages just upload two tracks via the official site. You must be either from the UK or UK based and not signed to a major label.
The overall winners will earn themselves a slot on either the Pyramid, Other Stage or Jazz World stages, following in the footsteps of past winners Liz Green (2007), The Deadbeats (2005) and The Subways (2004).
Organiser Emily Eavis said: “It’s been very exciting to have been involved in this competition since the beginning. Now we are moving to digital entries, our net will be wider. I am sure we will be able to find some incredible new bands out there. It’s great for the competition, and most importantly, it will be a great contribution to the Festival.”
The final deadline for Glastonbury New Talent 2008 is 11pm on 27 January 2008.
