Vintage At Goodwood scoops Best New Festival prize

Vintage At Goodwood has scooped the Best New Festival prize at tonight's (Thursday) UK Festival Awards in London.

The event, which was the brainchild of Wayne Hemmingway, set out to celebrate five decades of British cool with DJs, live bands, collectors, purveyors of vintage clothing and vintage vinyl from each decade.

The Faces reformed with Mick Hucknall on vocals for their only UK festival appearance of 2010, while Sandie Shaw performed for the first time in 25 years.

Best Major, Best Medium-Sized and Best Small festival awards are to be announced later tonight as the UK Festival Awards continue.

A full list of winners will appear on Virtual Festivals after the show.
