VF has once again teamed up with Glastonbury's Left Field Stage to host an evening of new talent from Liverpool, European Capital Of Culture.
The Rascals, Elle S’Appelle, Daisy Riots and Seal Club Clubbing Club will all appear at Glastonbury’s ‘third stage’ between 5-7pm on Thursday (21 June).
The Left Field will be the only stage offering a full programme of music on the opening day of the festival and will also be staging a Latin-style fiesta in the afternoon and an Anti-Slavery night, headlined by The Levellers.
It will be the fourth consecutive Glastonbury Festival that VF has teamed up with the Left Field Stage and we’ve got the full day’s line up first (see below).
Geoff Martin, Left Field Director, said: “We will be getting the party started on the Thursday morning with some very special guest DJ’s and PA’s alongside our house band The Krak before we move in to our famous Thursday Latin American fiesta which will get people moving.
“We are delighted to be hosting the finest young talent from Liverpool in our “Glastonbury vs The Capital of Culture” segment and then it’s a full on ska/reggae spectacular hosted by our good friends from Pama International before the Levellers top things off with a set for Anti Slavery International.”
