V Festival organisers have announced that they are to have a comedy tent for the first time, revealing the line up.
Stephen K Amos, Kevin Bridges and Milton Jones are headlining the new arena, which will be present at both the Stafford and Chelmsford legs.
The Glee Club Comedy Tent is the festival’s first non-music stage and features two days packed full of comedians.
In keeping with the usual V tradition, many of the acts will play both venues, swapping overnight.
Scotland’s Kevin Bridges will take to the Hylands Park stage on Saturday night while Sunday’s headliner at Weston Park will be Milton Jones, famed for his one-liner style of humour.
London-born comedian Stephen K Amos will perform at both legs of the festival.
The tent is sponsored by The Glee Club, which hosts comedy and music nights in four UK cities.
A new smartphone app has also been launched for V Festival 2011, which is available to download for free on the official V website.
It features the ability to help you locate your tent and car as well as finding your way around the site.
Headliners for the main stage are Eminem and the Arctic Monkeys.
There are still a few V Festival 2011 tickets available. A weekend ticket costs £175 with camping, or £149 without.
