The Leeds Festival has this weekend received an unexpected boost of support prior to tomorrow's Licence hearing application being heard.
A survey/questionnaire of every household in Thorner Village has voted overwhelmingly; more than 2:1 in favour of the Leeds Festival, and an even greater majority of 6:1 of households saying they were satisfied with the measures taken last year to minimise the impact on the village.
Melvin Benn M.D. of Mean Fiddler, promoters of the Leeds Festival said today:
“This is an excellent piece of news. The results are very pleasing as I worked very hard to minimise the impact and I am very pleased that has been recognised.”
