Organisers of Rizla's 'Inspired-By' festival programme have announced details of some exciting new gigs for the Autumn, featuring Goldie Lookin' Chain, Razorlight, Goldie and more.
[r-zone1]Inspired-By, as the name might just suggest, is a programme of events where artists get to pay tribute to, or perform with, other artists who inspire them. The whole thing kicked off back in June with gigs in Brighton and Cardiff, where The Stands and I AM KLOOT performed acoustic sets featuring covers of the songs that have inspired their careers.
New events just confirmed include a gig at Belfast’s Empire on 9th September where Razorlight will perform alongside new bands that inspire them.
Then ex-Specials member Terry Hall will play with the very excellent Dub Pistols at the Glasgow Barfly on 30th September and 1st October to celebrate the recent ‘mutual admiration’ collaboration on the album ‘Six Million Ways To Live’.
[l-zone2]Other gigs will follow in October, with the Goldie Lookin Chain, Roni Size, Goldie and legendary beatboxer Rahzel among those due to play.
