Glastonbury Festival organisers have released details of how you can book a communal tipi - and possibly better your chances of getting a ticket.
Fans are being invited to buy a limited Combined Tipi And Festival Ticket which not only gets you in but also allows you stay in one of 400 tipis, which will be set up in a field adjacent to the Park Stage.
The cost to rent a tipi for the Festival is £1,730, which includes the cost of 6 tickets as a package. Should you choose to come with less than six people or with a mix of adults and children, the price remains constant.
The canvas dwellings will be rented on a first come, first served basis when tickets go on sale on 6 April.
Despite registration being down on last year, it is still expected that demand will be high when tickets go on sale so booking a tipi could be a good way of securing your place.
Tipi bookings will only be taken on the dedicated Tipi booking line 0844 412 4625. Each person over the age of 12 in any party will need to be registered with the Festival. Those living abroad can only buy these tickets through the International Ticket Sales Line on 0044 1159 934 183.
A Glastonbury spokesman said: "Tipis come with a groundsheet and rain catcher, but you will need your own bedding, matting and any necessary creature comforts. Tipi dwelling is an incredible and elemental experience – but it is not luxury."
Glastonbury Festival 2008 takes place at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset, from 27-29 June. Kings Of Leon, Jay-Z and The Verve headline with Leonard Cohen, CSS, Hot Chip, The Fratellis, Goldfrapp, Editors and Shlomo also set to play.
