EXCLUSIVE: With those 'rumours' of Radiohead headlining this year's V Festival looking all the more likely, our ever trusty festival spies have revealed the identity of another three acts set to perform...
Keane, Beck, and Morrissey are all apparently booked for the two-leg festival, which takes place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, and Weston Park, Staffordshire, on 19-20 August.
They join Radiohead, who have reportedly put pen to paper to perform as one of the headliners.
V Festival tend to give four bands the honour of headlining (two each night), unless of course you’re Oasis and the band before you can only be known as ‘special guests’ (as with The Streets last year!)
Keane, Beck, or Morrissey (or all of them!) could potentially join Radiohead as one of the top four bands.
Other acts rumoured to be playing include The Who, Kasabian, Razorlight, Hard Fi, Kubb, Massive Attack, and New Order.
Of course, nothing is definite until official lineup announcements are made by the festival’s organisers.
Tickets for V Festival 2006 are yet to go on sale. The first official announcement is expected in March. Click on the links below for more info.
